We would like to make you aware that Eid ul-Adha falls on June 6th, which coincides with two crucial GCSE exams:
The timetables for the exam boards we use at King’s Liverpool can be found via the following links:
Morning examinations start at 9.00am, with students expected to be on site by 8.00am for final revision and preparation. This may mean that students who have a morning examination will need to make alternative transport arrangements to ensure they are in school for 8.00am.
Afternoon examinations start at 12.45pm, with the expectation that all examinations are completed prior to the end of the school day. This ensures that students do not have to make alternative transport arrangements in the afternoon.
For courses that contain non-examination assessments (for example, controlled assessment or coursework), assessment dates and completion deadlines are set by the relevant faculty in line with the curriculum plan.
It is vital that students and parents have read the attached information and guidance for candidates completing non-examination assessments, ensuring that particular attention is paid to the regulations around research and plagiarism.

Results Day – 21st August 2025
You must attend Results Day in person at school. If you are away, you must email a.vaughn-beaucaire@kingsliverpool.com from a personal email account before August to request digital results.
If students are unable to collect their results and require someone to collect them on their behalf, the following information will be required:
Important: You must also contact your college in advance to arrange how you’ll enrol if you're not collecting your results in person.
Enrol Immediately
As soon as you receive your results, you must go straight to your college to enrol.
Colleges are oversubscribed and allocate places on a first come, first served basis. If you delay or go on holiday, you risk missing out on your place.
Leave Your Details with Us
Before leaving school, make sure to give us your college name and updated contact information. This is essential for our records.
Querying results
There are a number of routes that can be pursued when querying results. Ideally, this is a conversation to have with the staff available on GCSE results day who will be able to provide further advice and guidance.
If, after results day, a student decides they wish to query their awarded mark or the marking of their paper, this can be done by contacting the relevant faculty leader or Ms Oldfield.
GCSE certificates will be available for collection from the main school reception from Monday 24th November 2025.
Students should where possible, collect their certificates in person. If this is not possible, certificates can be issued to a nominated person with the following:
Students, parents and carers are advised to read and familiarise themselves with the following documentation prior to sitting any external examinations:
